trans\u00adpor\u00adtation of enriched uranium hexa\u00adfluoride (UF6) is essential for the nuclear fuel&nbsp;cycle.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The 30B cylinders used worldwide for this purpose are loaded during trans\u00adpor\u00adtation outside nuclear faci\u00adlities in so-called over\u00adpacks, which offer pro\u00adtection against mecha\u00adnical and thermal impacts due to pos\u00adsible  acci\u00addents during transportation.<\/p>\n<p>The DN30 is a further tech\u00adnical deve\u00adlo\u00adpment of the over\u00adpacks that are used at the moment, which have already been in use for several decades.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to improved handling and increased safety, the DN30 is also par\u00adti\u00adcu\u00adlarly sui\u00adtable for the trans\u00adpor\u00adtation of UF6 from
